1950's Valve box (Large)

Complex design using three colours and a wrap-around, multi-coloured wave.  The larger box had room for a valve-type  "T" logo which was quite innovative for its time.  This particular example has an over-stamped Dunce's cap logo saying "Please".  Appears to be some safety campaign.  Does anyone know?

1950's Valve box (medium)

The medium sized box has a pretty similar design, except there is no room for the "T"-valve logo.  But why did they italicise the "valve" word?

Registration, especially of the reversed out text appears to be good on all samples.

1960's Valve box (Small)

Keeping with the old design but adding a Name and Address side for suppliers to fill in.
