30cm x 20cm x 15cm (w,h,d)

Power: 110-130V and 200-250V AC (25-100 c/s) or DC Mains

Controls: Left knob on/off/volumes, right knob tuning, front middle toggle switch for wave change
Design: Nicely rounded with side ridges.  Dominant silver coloured speaker grill is unusual.  Cream and brown tuning scale typical of its time.  Little front feet are quaint.  Aerial is wound on the inside of the back panel
Date: May 1954 priced at 12 6s 6d
Manufacturer: Ultra Electric Ltd
Comments: In very good condition and solid feeling despite its size.  The lack of ID number is a pain to anyone collecting this radio.  This was the fourth in a series of radios bearing the name "Troubadour"; the U626, U696 and the identical chassis model U6961 (from September 1953). Trader sheet 1151.
Line up: UL41, UY41, UCH42, UBC41 Mullard in place
