Size (approx):

Power: AC or DC Mains 220-240V, or battery; H.T. 85 volts, L.T. 7.5 volts
Wavebands: Two; LW (1200 to 2000m), MW (200 to 550m)
Controls: Left knob on/off/volume and the right knob for tuning centrally placed sliding switch for waveband select.
Design: Bakelite case in plum with cream plastic front. Brass metal speaker grill has fabric behind it.  Front knobs are a bit too shallow and the painted on gold stripe easily rubs off.  Back bakelite panel hinges off for easy access.  Mains cabled stored inside radio.  Frame aerial on back panel, covered by card.  Familiar Ultra ridges on the sides.

Comments: Date is projected from the smoothing capacitor being labelled March 1949.  No other ID.  One valve missing. Trader sheet 945.
