Vintage Radios: GEC BC 4835

Size (approx):

28cm x 19cm x 17cm (w,h,d)

Power: DC Mains (200/250V) and AC Mains (200/250V, 25/100 cycles)
Wavebands: LW (1000 to 2000m). MW (200 to 550m). SW (15m to 50m)
Controls: Left knob on/off/volume, middle knob for tuning, and right knob for wave change.
Design: Shapely black bakelite cabinet (also available in walnut) with white plastic speaker grill and knobs.  Lovely solid feel and very attractive white and red silk "thermometer" tuning indicator.  Light below this indicates red, green or blue depending on waveband selected.  Wire aerial wrapped around two lugs on the base.  Removable card base panel.

Comments: In very good condition, this radio is special for its silk tuning indicator and nice coloured waveband light.
