Metal Puzzles: E & S Series Wire Puzzles (6)
Undated (195?) set of puzzles

(c) Emil Dudek 2012

Box of six metal puzzles consisting of lid in four colour printed card and base (blue).  Approximately 155mm x 105m x 20m (w x h x d) with internal card dividers and possibly blue soft paper inserts. the edges are printed with "Six specially selected Wire Puzzles", "Amusement for all the family", "While away dull moments" and "Hours of amusement and pleasure". No. 147.

Call for help.  I cannot find out much about E&S other than I think it stands for Ellisdon & Son, based in London which were more famous for their magic and joke kits, from the 1930s onwards.

Medium quality set with little variation.

From the image design and printing quality this looks like 1950s - but may be even earlier.

My example does not have instructions and has obviously had a few puzzles added.  Can anyone help and define the original puzzle contents?

Warning: this list contains some extra puzzles that are not original and perhaps some missing bits: 6/8 probably are mostly complete.
