Calculators: Handheld: Canon LCD F-800P

Weight 84g including batteries, 116g including hard slip on cover..
Power: 3.0V DC, 2 x LR44 button cells, 0.6mW.  It does not accept an adaptor. Access to the battery compartment is by removing two screws on the rear.  The on key has raised plastic edges to stop accidental switching.
Case: Smooth black and olive plastic case.  The top front is dominated by a tilted and under-printed clear plastic panel printed in black and white.  This has a clear area to show the display, which is of reasonable contrast and viewing angle.   The small keys are squishy and parallelogram in shape, but work well enough. The metallic keyboard surround is printed in light and dark grey with white, green yellow and black text. 
Display: 10+2+2 digit black on silver LCD with numerous text labels.
Features: Large number of scientific, arithmetic, trigonometric, statistical and conversion functions.  128 programme steps, 10 memories.
Age: 1989
Manufacturer: Canon Inc, made in Taiwan. Serial number unknown.

Comments:

A very sophisticated calculator that is a miniature design icon from the late 1980s.  Most keys have three functions (and there are some hidden ones (try (INV)(OUT)(X) for extra conversion factors).  One of the last great programmable calculators, before computers took over.
