Calculators: Commodore (or in the UK CBM)
US (West Coast) company that issued over 120 calculators during the 1970s.  They bought the semiconductor manufacture MOS and then went on to sell Pet Computer and gaming computers through the 1980s.  See also the Commodore Reference Guide.
The commodore numbering system was useful as a descriptor, though not always consistent;
Prefixes: SR=Slide Rule (scientific), F=Financial, GL=(Custom) Green Line, P=programmable
Suffixes (or middles); M=Memory, R=Rechargeable, D=Disposable (i.e. battery ), A= ??
Numbering: On four digit numbers, that last two appear to be the number of functions whilst the SR9 series has the number of display digits as the middle number.
